Project Summary

The Sandhill Project was staked by Skyharbour in July 2026 and consists of three claims totalling 8,287.6 ha. The Project is located in the southwestern Athabasca Basin, approximately 65 km southwest of NexGen’s under-construction Arrow Uranium Mine and Paladin Energy’s Patterson Lake South uranium development project, and approximately 35 km southwest of Cameco’s Centennial Zone.

The earliest exploration in the Sandhill Project area consisted of airborne radiometric and aeromagnetic surveys conducted in 1969. This was followed by additional airborne and ground-based electromagnetic (EM), magnetic, and radiometric surveys, as well as ground prospecting, geological mapping, till sampling, and biogeochemical surveys during the 1970s and 1980s. More recent exploration has included airborne EM, magnetic, gravity, and radiometric surveys conducted between 2005 and 2019, together with ground EM and magnetic surveys, prospecting, boulder sampling, lake sediment sampling, biogeochemical surveys, and diamond drilling.
