Project Summary:
The Riou Project consists of three non-contiguous claims totalling 6,874 hectares in the north-central portion of the Athabasca Basin, staked in September 2026. The project is underlain by approximately 500 to 650 m (based on geophysical interpretation) of Athabasca Supergroup sandstone and conglomerate overlying basement rocks belonging to the Tantano Domain, the lithologies of which are unknown due to a lack of drilling in the area. Historical work across the Riou area outlined several discrete EM conductors with a combined strike length of nearly 40 kilometres, coincident with magnetic lows and anomalous boulders; the conductors on the western claim are adjacent to a NE-trending linear magnetic high. The project is completely untested by drilling and is prospective for sandstone-hosted and basement-hosted unconformity-related uranium mineralization.
