Geophysical Program Commences, Diamond Drill Program to Begin on South Bay Copper-Zinc Project, NW Ontario

January 29, 2007

Vancouver, BC --Skyharbour Resources Ltd. (TSX.V: SYH) (the "Company") announces that it has now contracted a geophysical program for the Company's 100% owned 3,200 acres South Bay copper-zinc project located in the Dent and Agnew Townships, Red Lake District, northwestern Ontario. The South Bay project covers the South Bay copper-zinc deposit and adjoining ground. The South Bay deposit was mined by Selco between 1970 and 1982 and produced approximately 1.6 million tons of 1.5% copper and 10% zinc.

The Company has now commenced the establishment of a linecut grid (approx. 30 km) to be followed by a detailed Titan 24 DCIP & MT geophysical program contracted to Quantec Geoscience Ltd. that will further enhance the known conductors on the South Bay claims in preparation for a diamond drill program scheduled for March 2007. The Titan 24 survey will commence January 31, 2007. The Titan 24 geophysical survey is designed to locate potential sulphide rich zones and / or associated alteration at depth and allow for mapping the resistivity and chargeability of the subsurface to significant depths, assisting geologic interpretations.

Previous exploration on the South Bay property in 2000 consisted of a Crone REM geophysical survey and was followed with limited diamond drilling. One hole drilled by Nuinsco in 2000 intersected mineralization of .72% zinc over 20 metres with a higher grade zone of 1.81% zinc over 4.15 metres.

Skyharbour Resources believes there is significant potential to identify new deposits on the South Bay property. This alteration crosscuts stratigraphy. The western margin of the alteration coincides with a major lithological break between acid and mafic volcanics and is the principle target area. Current geophysical methods allow exploration to depths of up to 1000 metres, opening up a very large prospective area for further exploration.

Skyharbour will conduct an aggressive exploration program on its South Bay project throughout the winter of 2007. Data compilation of past programs has been completed and the Company is ready to go forward at the end of January 2007.
